Been going there or picking up their food for years and have never been disappointed. The new owners who took over from Peter and Kitty So seem to be keeping the momentum going. Good job!

Phad Thai!

About once a month (or whenever we're in Ottawa) we visit So Good. We usually order the Phad Thai (chicken or tofu) and vegetarian spring rolls. I once ordered a coconut-pineapple smoothie which was yummy too. With the huge portions, we're always too full for dessert. Excellent food, crazy-large portions and the owner Peter always visits to see how we are enjoying our meal. We will continue to visit So Good when in Ottawa.

Everything I've tried at So Good was absolutely delicious. My partner and I crave the eggplant in black bean sauce. It is so flavourful. The portions are nice. The food is fresh.

I went to restaurant not expecting much but was...

I went to restaurant not expecting much but was reassured by my friend that this is a really good restaurant. From the outside and inside of the restaurant, I was not impressed. It wasn't dirty but it wasn't appealing either. However when we placed our orders and the food came my thoughts changed. The food was in good portion and excellent taste. I am not sure if this is the exact name of the dish but I really loved the fried tofu with salt(it was in the house special section). It was a little but spicy and perfectly fried. Everything we ordered was good and I would definitely come back. The only negative would be it's closed on Mondays.

So Good has the best Crispy Beef and most addictive chicken dishes in the city. The restaurant is a constant treat for me and my girlfriend. One we go back to week after week!!

This is the absolute best restaurant I'v been to in a long time! Peter is a terrific host, the food is wonderful, the portions are large and the service is quick and friendly! My girlfriend and I are regulars and we always like treat our out-of-town friends to So Goods' fantastic fare!

I confess- I'm a regular! I love the food here, especially the P/S Squid. Others love the wu-she vegetables. Everyone I know goes here regularly. Always full. Peter can help first-timers! Always keen to please. Not fancy but good portions - that cost includes enough for another dinner the following night!

I have to admit we do visit this place often. The food is really... "so good!" (sorry) The service is always to great and the food is never disapointing. We often get the same dishes and would recommend them all (but you need to try the TOFU PEPPER/SALT... I promise you'll be hooked.)

This restaurant is a pure "Pearl" in Chinatown. It is a tiny cozy place with an amazing huge variety type of Asian food. The oroginal way they prepare food gives a unique pleasant taste. It is a must for people looking to explore Asian food! Grade A, very clean.

Of course, it was the eleventh hour when I called and tried to make an evening reservation on Valentine’s Day. And, of course, like everyone else they were completely booked but they did call me back and I was so happy that they could squeeze us in. We enjoyed the best meal we could have hoped for. The house red (forget the varietal) was so perfectly pared with the shrimp appetizer, Gamberi Di Amaretto. And the chardonnay was lovely with the escargots. Our entrees were equally delicious and in spite of the fact that it was a very busy evening for Napoli’s, the food arrived at our table fresh and hot and the service was perfect. Water glasses were always topped up and we were never left unattended for long. The servers were very friendly and approachable and it all made for a fantastic dining experience. We also didn’t feel over-crowded in this ‘full-to-capacity’ restaurant. Our table provided plenty of elbow room and the table conversation was easy to hear in spite of people. We were very comfortable and happy to be enjoying the wonderful atmosphere. We can’t wait to have dinner at Napoli’s again. Lire plus
